Delivery Info & Terms
Carnegie aim to despatch all web orders within two working days of receiving them. We also offer two delivery options, Standard and Express.
We use Royal Mail First Class for Standard delivery which has, to date, been very reliable. Royal Mail say that they deliver First Class mail within 2 working days. Thus, please allow up to four working days for your order to arrive. (In practice it will probably arrive sooner.)
Standard delivery costs £2.95 per item.
While every effort will be made to ensure that all items shown are in stock we offer no guarantee of availability and this electronic publication does not constitute an offer for sale. Goods are normally dispatched within 72 hours. If we are unable to despatch your order within 7 days, we will contact you by e-mail with an estimated despatch date and offer you the option of cancelling the order.
Prices, VAT and tax
The price shown for the goods excludes postage and packing unless specifically stated. The charges for postage and packing are shown in the Checkout once you have entered the country and method of delivery and before you are asked to confirm the order. Books are zero rated for VAT in the UK, and VAT is therefore applied at 0% to all orders. Delivery to non-European countries may result in import duties payable on receipt of the goods. You will be liable for these duties.
Cancellation and returns
If you are not satisfied with the goods you have a right to cancel the contract, return the goods and receive either a full refund of your monies or replacement goods. The information on how to cancel and the Cancellation Form will be sent with the goods, together with the postal details of where to return the goods. Please send an e-mail to us before you return goods, telling us that you are returning the goods and why.
Personal information is held securely and only transmitted in encrypted form. Credit card numbers are not stored. No customer details are passed to third parties and are used only in accordance with the Data Protection Act.
