We recently helped with the design and production of The Folly: Settle’s House of Mystery and would love to share these lovely pictures of the launch event as well as the book.
Here are a few words from Richard Hoyle, one of the two authors, who we had the pleasure of working with:
‘Rachel Clarke came over to Settle to be a guest at the launch of the guidebook to Settle’s seventeenth-century town house, The Folly. One of the two authors, Richard Hoyle, a long time Carnegie Book Production client, and Anne Read, the curator of the Folly, spoke at the launch and offered their thanks to Rachel and Lucy Frontani for their work on the guide. As Anne said, it had been a pleasure to work with the Lancaster team on the design and production of the book. Everyone at the launch and who has seen it since has praised the quality of its design. In our picture, Anne Read, Richard Hoyle and Rachel Clarke of Carnegie are flanked by the monumental (if not actually vulgar) doorway of The Folly. If you haven’t been to the Folly, you must go and when there, make sure you buy their splendid new guide book!’
