Ferry Tales: Memories of the Fleetwood to Knott End Ferry, is a unique collection of passengers’ stories of crossings of the Wyre estuary over several decades. It’s also a story of survival: of how the ferry service has – remarkably – survived years of political turbulence, buoyed up on each occasion by a groundswell of public affection.
Here’s what Angela says on working with us:
‘My book, Ferry Tales: Memories of the Fleetwood to Knott End Ferry, has just been produced by Scotforth and I’m delighted with the finished product. It looks glossy and the front cover and inside photographs really help to tell the story of the iconic ferry. Throughout the process of book production, I’ve had wonderful support from Lucy, who has been extremely helpful and obliging. Living within reach of the publishing house has had its advantages in that I’ve been able to pop in to the office and talk through any amendments/changes and have been made to feel welcome.’
